Date transformations are one of the vital data cleaning processes. Power Query can handle common challenges like the system not recognizing the column as date due to its different format or structure, extracting date components like the year, quarter, month, week, and more with ease. Apart from Power Query, we can leverage native Excel feature Text to Column for date transformations.
